Meet the Board
Charles Mascioli
“Chuck” is a seasoned critical care physician with over 30 years in the specialty. He created and implemented two successful critical care programs. Achieving his MBA from UT Knoxville in 2013 he developed a passion for process improvement and LEAN design. Outside of medicine he and his wife founded a successful real estate rental company which specializes in campus rentals. Outside of medicine he enjoys growing vegetables and pursuing the creation of the perfect Neapolitan pizza.
Dan Niendorff
Dan is an experienced Critical Care physician who has managed thousands of critically ill patients since completing his training at Dartmouth in 2004. Since that time he has started a successful echocardiography laboratory, a craft Cidery, and produced CNC aircraft parts. His passion for building and flying experimental aircraft have also led to skills in CAD/CAM, CNC machining, and electronics.
Peter Mckeown
Peter is an Emory University trained Cardiothoracic surgeon and graduate of the University of Queensland, School of Medicine, Australia. He holds a Masters in Business Administraion from the University of South Florida and a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University and a Masters in Public Administration from The Kennedy School of Government , Harvard University. He has focused on Healthcare leadership and improving cost effectiveness and quality outcomes. His interests are swimming, golf, flying and olive farming.
Otto Niendorff
Otto is an accomplished athlete, pilot, and biomedical engineering student at the University of Tennessee Tickle College of Engineering. He was twice selected all-state as a football kicker, and helped lead his soccer team to a state championship as a high school junior. He earned his pilots license at age 17. His interests include entrepreneurship, aviation, golf, medicine, and medical device development.
